Pertamina Mandalika Circuit
The first street circuit in Grand Prix motorcycle racing since Brno last raced as one in 1986. Seventeen corners, unusually right-hand-heavy (11 right, 6 left) — Michelin reinforces the right side of rear tyres specifically for this track. Abrasive new asphalt and severe heat/humidity have been recurring, well-documented issues since it joined the calendar in 2022. New asphalt and surface treatments have been a recurring pre-race story here, as organisers work to address the grip and abrasion issues riders flagged in the venue's early seasons.

Getting there
Lombok International Airport sits close to the circuit within the Mandalika resort area, with DAMRI shuttle buses and metered taxis available at the terminal. The circuit sits inside a purpose-built tourism zone on Lombok's south coast, so most visitor infrastructure — hotels, restaurants, the airport itself — was developed alongside the track rather than predating it.
Where to sit
Ticketed zones are lettered A, B, C, E, G, H, I, J and K, each with big-screen and fan-zone access bundled into a 3-day general admission pass. Grandstands A, B, C, J and K are sold as Premium; D, E, F, G, H and I as Regular — B and C sit in the paddock area itself, while F and G climb the ‘360°' hill that gives a wraparound view unusual for a street circuit.
