Why we kept this instead of deleting it

Deleting an old page is the easy option in a rebuild, and it is usually the wrong one. Someone bookmarked one of these, linked to one of these, or found one of these through a search that still points here. Breaking that link does not make the old content less relevant to whoever was looking for it — it just makes the site less useful than it was a moment before. Keeping the address, the text and the images intact costs us nothing and keeps that door open.

How to read something from before the rebuild

The circuit guides elsewhere on this site are built to stay current: prices get re-checked, facts get corrected, and the season overlay updates on its own. The pieces here do not work that way. They are frozen at the date they were published, which means a number, a name or a claim in one of them can be out of date without anyone having gone back to fix it. Read them as a record of what the site said at the time, not as something we are actively maintaining.
