General admission
General admission here means the Green Zone and the fan zones, and nothing else. The Green Zone sits at the top of the circuit between the T3 and North grandstands and either side of the Schönberg stand — which is the high ground, and the reason GA at this circuit is a genuine choice rather than a compromise.

Two long uphill straights back to back means two deployment decisions per lap, and the hill lets you watch both.
Seats we could actually find on sale at Red Bull Ring ran from €199 up to €997 (general admission through to the priciest grandstand, not counting hospitality or Paddock Club) — checked 31 Jul 2026. Ticket prices move constantly and this is not every seat at the circuit, so treat it as a rough budget, not a quote. A typical return flight from a mid-priced European hub, booked around two months out, runs about €150 a person; add roughly €300 a person for three nights in a mid-range hotel over the race weekend. Getting there
Styria is a drive or a train-and-shuttle. Many people camp, which is the cheapest way to do the weekend and most of the reason for its atmosphere.
Where to sit
General admission on the grass banks is the point of this race, not the compromise. The climb rewards you with a view of three or four corners at once.
