The grandstands
The Main Grandstand (Tribuna Principal) is enormous and split into a lower and an upper tier with their own zone and row numbering — so 'main grandstand' on a listing tells you almost nothing until you have the specific zone and row. It sees the start-finish straight and the pit lane.
Of the lettered stands: E is on the outside of the start-finish straight right where the cars turn in to Turn 1, with F next to it covering the opening corners. A faces L across the outside of Turn 2. C is the value pick for sheer quantity of track — it sees from Turn 10 all the way down to the entry of the final corner.

The main straight is long enough that you can see a car lift and recover before the braking zone — the manoeuvre fans spent the first half of 2026 arguing about.
Seats we could actually find on sale at Barcelona ran from €410 up to €550 (general admission through to the priciest grandstand, not counting hospitality or Paddock Club) — checked 4 Aug 2026. Ticket prices move constantly and this is not every seat at the circuit, so treat it as a rough budget, not a quote. A typical return flight from a mid-priced European hub, booked around two months out, runs about €190 a person; add roughly €300 a person for three nights in a mid-range hotel over the race weekend. Getting there
Regional trains from Barcelona reach Montmeló, then it is a walk or a shuttle. Doing it from the city centre each day is normal here. Barcelona's hotel market is large enough to absorb race-weekend demand better than most Grand Prix cities, so staying centrally and commuting out to Montmeló is a realistic budget option, not just a premium one.
Where to sit
The main grandstand sees the start, the pit lane and the long run to Turn 1. The A and L stands, facing each other across Turn 2, see a genuinely fast corner.
Weighing it against other circuits
