General admission
Singapore sells roaming access as Walkabout zones rather than plain general admission: you get raised viewing platforms and the Padang concert stage, but no reserved seat. The popular platforms fill early on Saturday and Sunday. At a circuit this long and this central it is unusually good value.
The grandstands
Pit is on the start-finish straight opposite the pit lane — pit stops, lights out and the podium. The Marina Bay and Bayfront grandstands sit on that side of the lap; the floating platform they once looked toward was demolished in 2023, so both stands now simply face the Marina Bay waterfront itself. Stamford sits at the end of a long straight, so it sees defending and overtaking attempts. Connaught overlooks the Theatre on the Bay, in a braking zone. Padang is on a short straight and is the cheapest grandstand for 2026. Note: the circuit was reconfigured in 2023 (19 corners, down from 23), so turn numbers quoted elsewhere for these stands may reflect the old layout — we describe position by landmark rather than a turn number we cannot confirm post-reconfiguration.

Seats we could actually find on sale at Marina Bay ran from €181 up to €2093 (general admission through to the priciest grandstand, not counting hospitality or Paddock Club) — checked 31 Jul 2026. Ticket prices move constantly and this is not every seat at the circuit, so treat it as a rough budget, not a quote. A typical return flight from a mid-priced European hub, booked around two months out, runs about €850 a person; add roughly €508 a person for three nights in a mid-range hotel over the race weekend. Getting there
Entirely walkable from the city's rail network, which is the best public transport of any race on the calendar. As with any street circuit, there is no camping option in Singapore, and hotel rates across the city rise for race weekend — though the city's sheer hotel capacity generally keeps the spike less extreme than at smaller street-race cities.
Where to sit
Walkabout tickets here are unusually good value because the circuit is long, central and full of vantage points. Grandstands buy you a seat and a screen rather than a better view.
