General admission
Monza's general admission has got materially worse since the pandemic: new grandstands took over areas that used to be open, and GA holders now face restrictions on moving around the circuit. The compensation is the atmosphere around the Parabolica exit, which is still among the best in Formula 1.
The grandstands
The main-straight stands — 1 (Centrale), 4 (Laterale Sinistra), 5 (Piscina) and 26 (Laterale Destra) — are the most complete view here: grid build-up, the start, pit stops and the podium from one seat. The first chicane is the alternative, and sees the heaviest braking in Formula 1.

Getting there
Trains from Milan to Monza then a walk or shuttle through the park. Doing it from Milan each day is completely normal. Monza and nearby Milan both offer accommodation, and Milan's far larger hotel stock generally offers better value for the weekend than the smaller, race-weekend-inflated options right by the park.
Where to sit
The stands at the first chicane see the heaviest braking in Formula 1. Parabolica sees cars carry speed onto the straight. The park itself is half the experience.
