The grandstands
Eight grandstands and roughly 50,000 seats, of which about 10,500 are on the main straight. The Turn 1 grandstand sees the first braking zone and most of the opening-lap incident. The Victory grandstand sits near the final corner and was expanded in 2024. The main grandstand backs onto the F1 village, which is the practical choice if you are not spending the whole day in your seat.

The 2026 Bahrain round was cancelled and re-staged at Sepang in October. The guide stays, because the venue has not gone anywhere and pre-season testing still happens here.
Seats we could actually find on sale at Sakhir ran from $120 up to $300 (general admission through to the priciest grandstand, not counting hospitality or Paddock Club) — checked 3 Aug 2026. Ticket prices move constantly and this is not every seat at the circuit, so treat it as a rough budget, not a quote. What we can tell you is which decision moves the total most, and that is grandstand or general admission, followed by where you buy it.

Getting there
Short drive from Manama; the country is small enough that nothing is far. Bahrain's floodlit night race means the desert heat of the day is mostly a non-issue by lights-out — pack for cool desert evenings, not daytime sun.
Where to sit
The main grandstand sees the start-finish straight and the first braking zone. Turn 1 grandstands see the most first-lap incident. Further round, the University Grandstand covers Turns 1 through 4 — the first DRS zone runs through here, with the second nearer the Beyon Grandstand at Turns 7-10. The Beyon grandstand looks over the Turns 7-10 infield sequence, the technical heart of the lap. Victory grandstand, at Turn 14, catches the final heavy-braking zone before the run back to the line.
