Hockenheim Formula 1 tickets - visit Germany!

Germany (22 Jul. 2018)

Book Hockenheim Formula 1 tickets and visit the German Grand Prix!

Book your Hockenheim F1 tickets online to attend the 2018 German Grand Prix. After the absence of the Nurburgring last year Formula 1 will visit Hockenheim in 2018. There is a large range of different tickets available for this F1 race. Tickets for children are valid from 7 until 14 years old. Children below 7 years old will have free admission to the circuit, but they will not be allowed on the Grandstands without a ticket.

Formula 1 at Hockenheim

Hockenheim has long been a fixture on the Formula 1 calendar, hosting its first race on the much longer, now defunct woodland course back in 1970. Since the 2009 campaign, it has alternated with the Nürburgring, another of the country’s historic motor racing venues, to share the financial burden of hosting a Grand Prix. Still a popular track amongst the drivers despite its recent layout changes, it also offers a wonderful spectator experience with its unique ‘stadium section’ at the tail-end of the lap.

Accommodation and transport

Hotels in Hockenheim can be rather expensive over the course of a Grand Prix weekend, so staying a little further afield would be a wise choice. The nearby towns of Mannheim (12km north) and Karlsruh (32km south) have a variety of accommodation options, providing you are willing to make short morning and afternoon trips to and from the circuit. It is also possible to camp at the track itself, for an additional fee determined by the organisers, allowing you to join the many hundreds of die-hard Formula 1 fans.

Popular Hockenheim tickets

Hockenheim has a truly incredible ticket selection, with grandstand and general admission vantage points aplenty. Haupttribünes A-E provide superb views of the starting grid and pit lane, while Innentribünes A-C showcase the tight, twisty final sector. There are also general admission areas situated along the Parabolika, the fastest area of the circuit.
