Valencia Street Circuit info
The Valencia Street Circuit was build by the idea of a new classic Formula 1 track just like Monaco. With a length of 5.5 km, the circuit is much longer than his 'competitor', but just like any other street circuit there are not many opportunities to pass by. The 25 curves and the Valencia GP track wide (minimum width on home straight 15 meters and minimum width on rest of track 12 meters) together, give the drivers no chance to lose their concentration during the European Formula 1 Grand Prix.
The European Formula 1 Grand Prix leads spectators through downtown Valencia. The track passes through the historic fish market area, excitingly close to the water's edge before leaving the docks through the shipyard gates. A brief diversion along the river Turia before a tight hairpin sends them heading back towards the harbor through Avenida de Francia.
