How to get there: Silverstone UK
With the closest train stations half an
hour’s drive from the track, road
is the easiest method of getting to Silverstone,
which is located around 130 kilometres north
of London’s two main airports, Heathrow
and Gatwick, both of which are connected
to London city centre by express train links.
How to get to the track (and back)
You can get to the circuit car, parking

You can also arrive to the circuit by bus,
there are special coaches organized from
London, and from the different hotels and
cities around the circuit. The other way
into Silverstone is by air - helicopter
is the drivers’ preferred mode of
transport and on race day the circuit becomes
the UK's busiest airport. Helicopter trip
is done from London or Northampton.
Parking options
Parking tickets are sold by the circuit,
it is very important to get it on time,
you can buy it at the same time with your
Formula 1 Ticket which gives access to the
race. Parking is plentiful.
Where to stay
Most of the hotels to go to the Silverstone
Grand Prix can be found in the nearby
towns of Towcester, Buckingham or Northampton,
along with many Bed & Breakfasts in
the surrounding areas. Hotels are more or
less to 14 miles from the circuit. Also
there are hotels from London which offer
transport to the circuit on the race day.
