Last season info Pekeliling Malaysia
Sebastian Vettel grabbed the victory that he deserved after overtaking his team-mate Mark Webber into the first corner on lap one of the Malaysian Formula 1 Grand Prix. Mark Webber started on pole for Red Bull at Sepang International Circuit and Nico Rosberg started second, with Sebastian Vettel, Adrian Sutil, and Nico Hulkenberg the other top five starters. Halfway through the Malaysian F1 race, it was still Vettel leading the race with 5+ seconds between him and Webber. But his advantage did not gave the German any guarantees for an victory as he repeatly had lost his leading position during an Grand Prix. But Vettel kept the lead, as he had for the Malaysia Grand Prix race, with Webber coming in second and Rosberg finished 3rd .

Historic info Pekeliling Malaysia
The 1st Malaysian Grand Prix on Sepang F1 Circuit was held in 1999 and won by Eddie Irvine. The track offers many overtaking opportunities, so it is all about techniques during the Malaysian F1 Grand Prix. However, Michael Schumacher has proven that you can also win by speed when he held the much faster Mika Hakkinen behind him for the entire race. Schumacher has won the Malaysian GP 3 times: in 2000, 2001* and 2004.
*The 2001 Malaysian GP was hit by a heavy rainstorm in the middle of the race which made conditions very difficult. Conditions were so bad that the two Ferraris of Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello spun off almost simultaneously at the same corner. Remarkably, they both recovered to score a Ferrari '1-2'.
