How to get there Monaco Monte Carlo
Monaco Street Circuit has an connecting with the International Airport in Nice, France. This airport serves many destinations, but if your country is not one of its destinations, you can go to either the Orly International Airport in Paris or the Charles de Gaulle International Airport in Paris. From both airports you can take a domestic flight to the Nice Airport.
How to get to the track (and back)
From the Nice Airport you can take the Airport Express Coach to the Nice Railway Station and from here you can take a train directly to Monte Carlo Circuit. At a total cost of approximately EUR 11 per person, this trip is rather cheap.
A faster way of travelling is by taxi, which you can find right outside the Nice International Airport. Do note that taxis are very expensive in Monaco. You can take the taxi to the train station, but all the way to Monte Carlo is very expensive.
If you are not in a hurry it is recommended to go by train as it takes you along the Mediterranean bays. It is not needed to hire a car in Monaco as it has an excellent bus service which is very cheap. Destinations are clearly shown at every bus stop and when you enter a bus all you have to do is to pay the chauffeur EUR 1 and tell your destination.
If you do decide to hire a car at the Nice Airport, depart in northern direction towards D2204 and proceed onto A8. Merge onto A8/A805 and follow D6007 and N207 toward Monaco. Follow the signs Princess Charlotte and follow the signs to the circuit.
Parking options
Bear in mind, however, that parking in Monaco over the race weekend is very difficult, to say the least.
Where to stay
The F1 Monaco Grand Prix hotels are booked for months in advance. If you can afford, nothing beats the glamour of staying in Monaco itself. The closer you are to the track, the higher the price. A more cost-effective choice is to stay along the coast in one of the quaint seaside towns such as Beaulieu Sur Mer. Other option is Nice. Click here to book your hotel.
