The Korean International Circuit consists of a permanent and a temporary part. The temporary part runs alongside the harbor of province South Jeolla. Spectators can see the race from the promenade, hotels and yachts. Part of the city with shops and restaurants will be used as a pit area during the Korean F1 Grand Prix.
Region
If you decide to lay off the Korean F1 Grand Prix for a day and explore South-Korea, it is recommended to go to the capital Seoul. This city is one of the most modern cities in the world and offers nice tourist attractions. For cultural fanatics there are museums and small villages where they can explore the old South-Korean architecture. Please do not forget to visit at least one of the many Buddhist temples. You can also visit Olympic Park which was built for the Olympics of 1998. Click here to see what else Seoul has to offer.
